A noteworthy fact: in 1978, Coca-Cola refused to enter the Indian market, because local authorities wanted to know the exact formula of the drink. As a result, Coca-Cola came to the country much later, in 1993, but kept a secret.
2. Some experts consider Coca-Cola a stimulant.
According to a published recipe, Coca-Cola contains coca leaves. Due to the fact that this plant contains prohibited substances, the raw materials undergo a special cleaning procedure. Therefore, leaves imported from Peru and Bolivia are first delivered to the Stepan Company and only then to the Coca-Cola plant. Some experts argue that the transparency of this process is difficult to vouch for, therefore, perhaps the drink contains a stimulant. The company refuses to comment on this situation.
3. The difference between Coca-Cola and the drinks of competing companies is not as great as it seems

However, some local merchants took over this work and decided to accurately convey the sounds “ko-ka-ko-la” with hieroglyphs. They did not think about the meaning of the inscriptions, and in the end there appeared names like “Bite the wax tadpole.” Having sorted through 200 different characters, marketers have not been able to formulate a harmonious phrase. As a result, it was decided to slightly change the name to “ko-ku-ko-le”, which means “Full mouth of happiness”.
5. Coca-Cola – the most recognizable brand in the world
Coca-Cola has been repeatedly recognized as the most recognizable brand in the world. About 1.5 billion servings of this drink are drunk every 24 hours on the planet, and its name has long been a household name. In a cafe, waiters usually ask guests a question: “Juice, Coca-Cola or mineral water?” And when you go to visit friends, they ask “to grab a Coke”. But earlier, with the word “cola” there was an association with a plant whose nuts contain caffeine.
By the way, a number of experts believe that the success of the company is largely due to the fact that it did not go through the process of global rebranding and focuses on time-tested classics and family values.
