Remove fat with a piece of ice
The bottom line: put a few ice cubes in a spoon, a clean and damp piece of cloth or a paper towel, then bring the ice to the surface of the soup, sauce or other fatty dish.
Result: it works. Fat gathered in one place in the first seconds. It can be easily removed with a spoon or directly with an improvised bag.
Heat citrus fruits in the microwave to peel faster
The bottom line: to quickly peel citrus fruits, you need to put them in the microwave for a minute.
Result: not working. As soon as the orange starts spinning in the stove, it becomes scary: it suddenly explodes. Therefore, I warmed it for no more than 20 seconds. It didn’t become easier to clean; anyway, I had to resort to a knife. But the fruit became hot, which is not good for him.
Peel potatoes without a knife
The bottom line: bring the pot of potatoes to a boil, then remove from heat and cool in ice water.
Result: it works, but not as stated in the description. At first, the peel remains in place. Only after 10-15 minutes it begins to lag behind the potatoes and it can be removed. In general, life hack does not speed up the cleaning process.

Result: it works. Why haven’t I done this before? Everyone who has tried ice cream with chocolate paste will never forget this taste, so I will definitely use this trick.

Result: it works. I kept the onion in the freezer for about 2 hours – it didn’t affect the taste. For the first time, my eyes did not blush or watery when slicing onions. Once I tried another life hack – dip the bulb in cold water, but that did not help, and the freezer helped.

Result: partly works. I poured a piece on the left with lemon juice, in the center – a mixture of honey and water. On the right piece did not apply any mixture. I left the apples for 6 hours: what was processed with lemon (on the left) retained its color, and the edges of the fruit did not cringe. True, the apple acquired a sour taste. A piece, poured with a mixture of honey and water, began to darken after 3 hours.
