We have already forgotten how some of them looked in their youth: some of them started a film career or became famous at a fairly mature age (for example, Alan Rickman), while others firmly grew together in our minds with the images of negative characters that they created in a talented way.

12. Imelda Staunton

- Where the villain played: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007), Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010).

In 2012, Curry suffered an extensive stroke and now, unfortunately, is confined to a wheelchair.
10. Glenn Close

- Where the villain played: Fatal Attraction (1987), 101 Dalmatians (1996), 102 Dalmatians (2000).
For the first time in her career, Close played the role of the villain in 1987 in the thriller Fatal Attraction. She embodied on the screen the role of the manic Alex Forest, ready for anything to make a man her. Her screen partner in the film was Michael Douglas.
The most famous “villainous” role of the actress is Cruella De Ville. The owner of the fashion house, Cruell, has the idea to sew a fur coat from the skins of real Dalmatians. The legendary villain with black and white hair scared children in the 1961 cartoon, but it was in the performance of Close that she turned out to be truly sinister. Her laughter makes even the stubborn spectators goosebumps.
9. John Malkovich

- Where the villains played: “Dangerous Liaisons” (1988), “On the Line of Fire” (1993), “Air Prison” (1997), “Joan of Arc` (1999),“ Shadow of the Vampire ”(2000),“ Libertine ” (2005), “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” (2005), “Eragon” (2006).
Two-time Oscar nominee John Malkovich often embodies villains, sadists, maniacs and villains on the screen. So, in the film adaptation of the novel by Pierre Chauderlo de Laclos, “Dangerous Liaisons,” the actor played the role of Valmont – a morally depraved libertine and intriguer who brings evil to people just like that.
