6. Ex Machina (2014)

This sci-fi movie has a fairly classic plot involving a scientist and his creation. There is an experiment with two participants: a young engineer, Caleb, and the world’s first artificial intelligence, Ava. But researchers seem to have more questions than answers. In addition, during the test, Caleb falls in love with Ava, and Ava conspires with a robot. As for the end, we can not really talk about a happy ending.
7. First contact (2016)

Professor Louise Banks, who has just lost her only daughter, is invited by the military to try to communicate with a mysterious extraterrestrial race; his job is to translate their complicated language. She learns their circular alphabet that changes her perception of time, allowing her to experience the past, the present and the future at the same time. She tries to escape, and when she finally succeeds, she realizes that everything is true. What Michelle decides to do is a complete surprise!

During the investigation, the police find clues that make Nick the main suspect. The outcome of this complex plot will drive you crazy as much as it will surprise you.
